About the Artist

I believe the strongest work begins with curiosity rather than certainty.

Whether developing a surface design collection, shaping wood veneer into sculptural forms, or building atmosphere through paint, I’m drawn to the space where intuition and structure meet. My practice is rooted in observation—finding connections between nature, material, memory, and design—and allowing those relationships to guide the final piece.

Rather than working within a single medium, I move between disciplines. Fine art, surface design, sculpture, printmaking, and product development each become different ways of exploring the same question: how can thoughtful design evoke emotion, invite pause, and create lasting connection?

Alongside my fine art practice, I develop surface design collections and creative concepts for lifestyle and accessories brands. Working across both commercial and fine art has strengthened each discipline—the storytelling and craftsmanship of the studio inform product design, while the clarity and problem-solving of design continue to shape my artistic practice.

Creative Process & Philosophy

At the heart of my work is a deep trust in intuition—a willingness to respond to material rather than control it.

Every project begins with observation. Sometimes that becomes an abstract oil painting shaped by layers of light and gesture. Other times it evolves into a sculptural object, a cyanotype, or a surface pattern collection. The medium changes, but the process remains the same: listening, refining, and allowing unexpected relationships to emerge.

I’m less interested in decoration than in creating work that feels quietly resonant. Whether destined for a gallery wall or a thoughtfully designed product, I hope each piece offers a moment of stillness, curiosity, or connection.
