At first glance, our mysterious subject appears to hold a royal flush — a lucky hand, a knowing smirk, a crimson dress worthy of center stage. But look closer. Reflected in her martini glass is the truth: her cards are worthless. The illusion, like all great mischief, is exquisitely staged.

You may place a bid at any time during the Knoxville Opera’s 2025–26 season. Bidding is hosted here on this page and updated weekly. The highest bid at the close of the season wins the painting.
To place a bid:
1. Fill out the short bidding form below.
2. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
3. Bids must exceed the current highest bid by a minimum of $100.
4. The winning bidder will be notified by email after the season finale event.
