These works are a collaboration with light, water, and time. I’ve adapted the traditional cyanotype process — typically used for photographic printing — into a method for abstract expression. Using fluid layers of ink, salt, and water on sensitized surfaces, I allow natural elements to interact in unpredictable ways. The piece is then exposed to sunlight, where its final form begins to emerge.

There is no way to replicate a piece exactly. Each one is shaped by the angle of the sun, the timing of exposure, and the organic reactions of the materials themselves. Even I don’t fully know what will appear until the developing is complete — a moment of unveiling that feels both intuitive and elemental.

Works are finished with hand-applied genuine 23.5k gold leaf, adding light and dimension to the deep, moody blues. The result is a body of work that is atmospheric, textural, and entirely one of a kind — meditative reflections for quiet, design-forward interiors.
